ON
RATIFICATION ON CONVENTION INTERNATIONAL TRADE
IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD FAUNA AND FLORA

WITH THE MERCY OF GOD THE ALMIGHTY
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INFONESIA,

Considering :

• a. that on March 3, 1973, in Washington, the "Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora" was signed;
• b. that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has no objection to ratify the Convention referred to in letter a above;

In view of :

• 1. Article 4 paragraph (1.) and Article 11 of the 1945 Constitution;
• 2. Mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Spokesman of the House of Representative dated August 22, 1960 Number 2826/HK/60;

DECIDES:

To stipulate:

FIRST:

To ratify the "Convention on international Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora", that has been signed in Washington on March 3, 1973, as attached to this Presidential Decree.

SECOND:

This Presidential Decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this Presidential Decree shall be promulgated by placing it in the Statute Book of the Republic of Indonesia.
